BONami bonus card

Each time you stay at a participating BON Hotel in Africa you will earn BONami bonus crowns. Don’t forget to request your crown on departure! Unfortunately crowns will not be backdated for previous stays.
Bonus crowns will only be issued when your booking is made on your BONami member rate.
Fill your BONami bonus card with 20 crowns and you will receive a complimentary two night stay voucher for two people sharing, redeemable in South Africa.
To claim your two night free voucher, the completed BONami bonus card (filled with 20 crowns) must be handed in to reception on check in.

Dining discounts

Whether you are a guest at the hotel or are just enjoying a night out, BONami members are entitled to a discount on the food portion of the bill at breakfast, lunch and dinner at any participating BON Hotel in Africa.
Your discount entitlement is as follows:

  • 1 x Diner = 25% discount
  • 2 x Diners = 50% discount
  • 3 x Diners = 33% discount
  • 4 – 12 Diners = 25% discount

Room upgrades

As a BONami member you deserve some special treatment!
Enquire at reception when you check in about our complimentary room upgrades, this is subject to availability and affords you a room upgrade at no additional charge.

Early arrival/Late check out perks

BONami members may request an early check in from 12h00 or a late checkout up until 16h00 from the hotel at no additional cost, subject to availability. You will be required to provide your contact details, arrival and departure information in advance.

Your participation in the BONami Programme will be determined by the terms and conditions as set out below

ABOUT BONami

BONami is a Hospitality Loyalty Programme that offers a variety of benefits, privileges and rewards at participating BON Hotels in selected African countries.
BONami and BON Hotels cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed correspondence sent to you via the postal service.
The Hotels reserve the right to request positive identification and verify the cardholder’s identity to ensure the bearer is eligible to redeem benefits.

Membership and fees

BONami benefits are for you and your partner’s use exclusively and is not transferrable. To enjoy all the BONami benefits, a once-off, annual membership fee is payable per member.
Individual members of families or groups, employees of corporate companies or other entities may only be members in their capacities as individuals.
Where a BONami member is staying at a participating BON Hotel as part of an airline crew, transport crew arrangement, convention group, sporting team, education group or any other group booking, the member benefits are not applicable.
BONami and BON Hotels do not guarantee or warrant that any or all of the benefits and privileges of the BONami programme will be available at all times.
BONami and BON Hotels reserve the right to change, modify, limit or cancel any of the BONami programme benefits at any time. This includes increasing or decreasing any requirements for a reward, changing the value of rewards or limiting the availability of rewards. BONami and BON Hotels will advise members of such changes, modifications, limitations or cancellations in good time, as may be required in terms of applicable laws.

Participating hotels

BONami benefits are available at all participating BON Hotels in African countries which have elected to participate in the BONami programme (‘’Participating BON Hotels’’), provided that the participation agreement of the relevant Hotel is unchanged. Our portfolio of participating BON Hotels includes: BON Hotel Riviera on Vaal, BON Hotel Midrand, BON Hotel Bloemfontein Central, BON Hotel Swakopmund, BON Hotel Abuja, BON Hotel Delta, BON Hotel Stratton Asokoro. BONami bonus cards

The BONami bonus card operates at all participating BON Hotels in Africa.
Spend 20 nights on your BONami rate at any of our participating BON Hotels in Africa and receive two free nights for two people sharing, redeemable in South Africa.
One crown is issued per night, notwithstanding the number of rooms booked.
To earn your two free night’s reward you must collect your crowns at time of checkout as they may not be issued at a later stage.
Crowns are not issued on contracted or negotiated rates, complimentary rates or any other special offers not related to the BONami programme.
Your BONami bonus card must be completed with 20 crowns and handed in to reception for verification.
Your two free night’s reward will be issued to you at reception.
Free accommodation reservations should be made directly with the Hotel a minimum of 72 hours prior to arrival. The redemption of your two free nights reward, is on an accommodation only basis and subject to certain terms and conditions on availability.
Your BONami bonus crowns will not be replaced in the event of loss, theft or destruction.

Guaranteed discounted rates 365 days of a year

Hotel room upgrades

Subject to availability, BONami members qualify for a complimentary room upgrade, at no additional charge.
Hotel room upgrades are subject to availability of rooms on the day of arrival and will remain at the discretion of management.
Certain Hotels, due to high demand, will not grant free benefits over special days, public holidays, school holidays, events, festivals or peak periods.

Subject to availability, BONami members are entitled to enjoy early arrival from 12h00 and late checkout privileges up until 16h00 at no additional charge.
Early arrival and late checkout privileges are subject to availability of rooms on the day of arrival and/or departure and will remain at the discretion of management.
Certain Hotels, due to high demand, will not grant free benefits over special days, public holidays, school holidays, events, festivals or peak periods.

Restrictions on benefits

Where a BONami member is staying at a participating BON Hotel as part of an airline crew, transport crew arrangement, convention group, sporting team, education group or any other group booking, the member benefits are not applicable.
BONami and BON Hotels does not guarantee or warrant that any or all of the benefits and privileges of the BONami programme will be available at all times. BONami and BON Hotels reserve the right, to change, modify, limit or cancel any of the BONami programme benefits at any time. This includes increasing or decreasing any requirements for a reward, changing the value of rewards or limiting the availability of rewards, and changing the BONami programme partners. Members will be notified of any such changes.
BONami benefits and rewards will not be applicable at any Hotel that leaves the BON Hotels portfolio – such Hotel will no longer be a participating BON Hotel. BON Hotels will advise members of such changes, modifications, limitations or cancellations timeously, as may be required in terms of applicable laws.

Reservations

For cash payments, reservations will remain provisional until one night’s deposit is received. This deposit is required at time of reservation.
For credit card payments, your credit card number will serve as guarantee of the reservation and you will be charged for the first night’s accommodation at time of booking. The Hotel will contact you to complete the required credit card authorisation form.
Full pre-payment may be required from some Hotels during periods of high demand. Such payment will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The Hotel will contact you should this be a requirement for your reservation.
Reservations that have not been guaranteed may be released at any time. The Hotel will endeavour to contact you prior to releasing the reservation.
Rates exclude 1% tourism levy at all participating BON Hotels in South Africa.
Rates are nett and non-commissionable.

Partner benefits

BONami and BON Hotels are not liable for any omissions, acts, or defaults made by any of the BONami programme partners.

Vouchers

One of the benefits of being a BONami member is the complimentary and discounted vouchers you receive after purchasing your membership.
Redeem your vouchers via our central reservations office on +27(0)21 912 1306 or directly with the applicable Hotel.
The first night of your ‘Pay one night and stay the next night free’ stay must be spent on your discounted BONami rate.
Special BONami offers or weekend rates do not apply.

Voucher offers for accommodation are valid for one standard room for two people and do not include meals, beverages or gratuities.
Meal vouchers are applicable for the benefit stated on the voucher and do not include beverages or gratuities.
Please mention your voucher and voucher number when making your booking at the relevant Hotel.
Your voucher will only be honoured if your booking is made 72 hours in advance.
The complimentary benefit will not be granted unless the original voucher is presented on arrival.
Complimentary accommodation is subject to availability of rooms in this rate category. All BON Hotels have a limited number of complimentary rooms that can be redeemed each month.
Complimentary meal vouchers are subject to restaurant availability. All BON Hotels have a limited number of complimentary meals that can be redeemed each month.
Certain Hotels, due to high demand, will not grant free benefits over special days, public holidays, school holidays, events, festivals or peak periods.
Certain Hotels may only accept complimentary vouchers during the week or over weekends.
Only one voucher per stay will be accepted.
If you wish to extend your stay following your free night, you will be offered the best available BONami member rate-of-the-day.
Vouchers may not be exchanged, transferred or extended.
Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash.
We are unable to replace lost vouchers.
All expenses incurred during your stay must be settled upon departure.
Vouchers are valid for one year from time of issue, provided your BONami membership remains active and the agreement status unchanged at the Hotel where you intend to stay.

Dining benefits

BONami membership cards are non-transferable.
One BONami membership card may be used per table, per reservation.
Your BONami membership card must be presented on arrival at the restaurant.
Discounts do not apply to beverages.
Your meal must include a main course.
Discounts do not apply on special days, events or festivals.
Discounts do not apply on promotions.
Discounts do not apply to room service.
Your BONami membership card entitles you to the following dining discounts for breakfast, lunch and dinner at all participating BON Hotel restaurants in Africa, whether you are a resident in the hotel or simply visiting for a meal.
